Our single wall cardboard boxes are made for everyday packaging or storing of products. These corrugated cardboard boxes have a high quality flute and are designed for lighter duty applications. Ideal for lighter duty applications. For heavier loads we recommend our double wall range of cardboard boxes.
Our double wall cardboard boxes are made with two layers of corrugated cardboard for extra strength and durability. Suited to medium and heavy duty applications, they provide greater protection for your products, and are ideal if boxes are not completely filled or if products are to be stored for longer periods of time.
Different flutes and paper grades are used depending on the application.
The most commonly used flutes for single wall cartons are either ‘B’ or ‘New Gen B’ for light applications. ‘B’ flute is a great all round option, it offers strong protection and is good for printing.
‘C’ flute with increased paper grade can be used as an alternative to a double wall carton, as it is robust and great for stacking.
‘E’ flute provides best quality print as it has a very flat surface.
‘B/C’ flute is most common for double wall cartons, offering extra protection, so it’s perfect for shipping heavy items.
‘B/E’ double wall gets its durability from its B-flute layer, while the E-flute gives it a smooth printing surface.
