Semi-automatic options allow the operator to open the box and place it in the carton erector which closes the bottom flaps. The carton is then held stable to allow easy placement of product before it moves into the tape machine to be sealed top and bottom at the same time.
Automatic carton erecting machines are designed to streamline the process of preparing boxes for packing. They efficiently fold the four bottom flaps of the carton, drawing them from a side magazine known as the box loader. These folded flaps are then securely closed using adhesive tape before being dispatched to the filling point for further processing.
